Interview with Brad of nugs.net

There is a great interview online with Brad Serling, creator of download powerhouse nugs.net, the “other” download site. Brad talks about the past, present, and future of livephish.com, the motivation behind their technology decisions, and Phish’s commitments to their fans. A great read, especially for users of the phatphiles vault. Read more at jambands.com.

$5 to /.

I paid the 5 bones to get a slashdot subscription recently and I’m actually pretty happy about it. Even though a big portion of the slashdot crowd ticks me off for being elitist, tech-geek, competitive jerk offs, it’s still my favorite news site. The features, which mainly include turning off ads and getting “preview” stories that haven’t been posted yet, are completely worth the miniscule price tag.

new host for flipsource.org

The incompetents over at ehostsource.com, although they offer a great deal, are unable to keep flipsource.org running. It’s been up for just about 30 seconds since I registered it.

That said, I searched and searched. I found Logjamming.com on K5, and it seem to be the PERFECT place to host flipsource.org. After all, their specialty is weblogs, and I am writing the simplest weblog ever seen by man.

I’ll let you know when it’s up.
