What’s Up With Phatphiles?!

I’m getting asked this a lot - what’s up with phatphiles.org? Well, I suppose it’s time to announce it: phatphiles is no more. The cost of running phatphiles was growing. Phish would not allow us - in any way shape or form - to accept money, even donations, or display ads, in conjunction with offering downloads. As a result, bringing you the best music simply became an impossiblity.

firsttube.com will live on, but I don’t know in what capacity. I may simplify the hell out of the thing, maybe make it a basic user-maintained link farm or a picture gallery, or I may go back to the old style of ft 1.0: offering one weekly featured song.
