		<description>I have no such 'empty' file and still I get these mentioned problems. Having tried quite a few proposed fixed on different sources I'm still left with no solution. Oh and I do have show hidden files and all that enabled, so not sure if it should be obsucred from my sight at all..</description>

		<description>I no longer have it, but you don't need it.  Just go into C:Windows and make certain there isn't a 0K file called "msiexec" with no extension.  If there is, delete it. Then calling "C:Windowsmsiexec" will run the exe file as intended.</description>

		<description>Thanks for pointing out that ImagePath problem - I installed SP1 and found no Installer packages would run, and the Installer service gave an error when I tried to restart it. I corrected the ImagePath data and it worked again without a reboot!</description>

One thing I would say, is to use the search box on the Vista start menu.  Turn off the option that makes it search all your documents, and it works a charm, that and the ability to click on items in the alt-tab window are the only 2 features of Vista that I miss.</description>
