The above quoted guy is right, it hurts the eyes (a lot more if you’re in Windows).
The news blocks are also too much compressed.
And putting ads in the middle of the news it’s not cool.

It’s pretty clear to me that people are never happy, whatever the amount of work you’ve done (I faced the same situation on my site http://www.pentastic.info). It’s not enough to deal with this fu**ing IE browser who dosen’t respect the standards and is full of bugs, people are still using it, sometimes an old version and complain… you’re right man, it’s 2007 and alternatives are here and there are free. You have definitively choosen the right way with CSS coz you can very easily change the look & feel, if needed.
